[GEM Development] WHO has WHAT scanned, already? [Was: GEM goodies on eBay...]

Dear DEVelopers:

(My first reply, apparently, went back to Paul, alone (only).)
(This, my third reply, is occasioned by the fact that I DIDN'T change the title when I sent it out the second time and my humor(?) won't make sense without it! (klingon growl)!!!

I have that whole pack - and more - of GEM software. It came as a bundle from a clearance merchant with their refurbished computers in the early '90's. (I note that DR GEM /Scan/ isn't among them. I'll continue looking for that one and, eventually succeed - or die trying.)

This has been mentioned before - and I think I have failed to ask then; so I'll do so NOW.

Several of you have said that you have / had started scanning the GEM manuals that came with various versions of the system software and applications. Do "we" have a listing / table / database that one can consult and update as to /what/ has been scanned already and what is available and yet TO BE scanned?

As I implied (above), I have a 'nice' collection of original DR and DR GEM 'stuff'. I haven't /attempted/ to scan any of it for 'fear' that upon completion of a manual someone will say, "Oh, I have that one scanned already."

BTW, I /have/ started to 'inventory' what I have and that, as I recall, is /nearly/ done. I have to 'do' one or two more but mainly just transcribe to digital format my listings / notes.

Sincerely,

Thomas Clayton

P.S.:
Of course, you COULD mis-interpret the subject-line question as:

Pete and Roger - excluding John and Keith (as they have died; although they might have contributed to the project before then) - have scanned WHAT (ever that is) and it's been finished for some time, now.

... but then we might as well inquire as to:
"WHO is on first?"
and
"WHAT is on second?"
;-D

Tom C
