From topcatdrc at yahoo.com Sun May 4 06:42:08 2008 From: topcatdrc at yahoo.com (Thomas Clayton) Date: Sun, 4 May 2008 06:42:08 -0700 (PDT) Subject: [GEM Development] Should I give our lists address out? Message-ID: <56968.76282.qm@web82302.mail.mud.yahoo.com> Hi! I've written a question at Askville (a subsidiary of Amazon.com) http://askville.amazon.com/copy-DR-GEM-Scan/AnswerViewer.do?requestId?66840&search=DR%2BGEM%2BScan (that should be all ONE line) requesting IF any one has a copy of DR GEM Scan. (Yeah, I'm /STILL/ looking for the general version.) SO, If you 'come across' it (via Google or whatever) you DON'T need to give notice to this list about it. BUT, more importantly, someone has given a reply with (good, correct) info about GEM and /seems to be/ TOTALLY UNaware of our (this list's) existance. WOULD it be "OK" to post (in such a public place) the URL http://www.simpits.org/mailman/listinfo/gem-dev for signing-up to this list? (I'd think SO, but thought it best to ask. first!) Message-ID: Hi all, The FreeGEM wiki (http://wiki.freegem.net/) appears to be broken, and has been for a while. The DB server it was on let out its magic smoke, but I could have sworn I got it back up. Um. Owen, could you please send me the mysql dumps you have, and I'll get it set up on the new box? Or failing that remind me of the account details, and I'll do it myself? Of interest here may be the bywater basic and 4th system that I've ported to GEM. If you are curious and because I appreciate that others have made their work available, I have posted my gem files and sources for the time being on my personal website. http://www.geocities.com/zaojashin/freegem.html David -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
