  Apart from the INT F1 thing, all the problems appear to be in the design.
The BIOS isn't in the least like the IBM PC one; apart from a minimal boot
loader, it's all in RAM and so some calls are only available on some BIOS
versions. The overall design's quite elegant; it's only when you want to do
the sorts of things that GEM does that you run into the messy details.
