hi all,

i was searching through some forums for help with wine under linux
(finally made an almost definate switch - yeh its PClinuxOS that is a
tad too windows-y for me...and i had to install the hole of gnome
because i HATE KDE ARGH!) right back on topic - i just came across a
website called evolt.org (http://browsers.evolt.org) - and they have a
hole list of browsers on there. Right, this is a long stretch and i
don't think that it has actually got absolutely anything to do with
GEM, but there is a browser listed under there, made by Caldera. it is
a ver.2 - i am rather sceptic that it is for GEM as it is a .exe file
- i haven't booted GEM for ages but i think that .exe weren't the GEM
files :S

the browser is called DR-WEBSPYDER - link
http://browsers.evolt.org/?dr-webspyder/ .

i hope it is for gem as i can remember the browser is rather buggy etc.

another question - is it possible to integrate a dos browser (eg.
DOSlynx - stretching my mind to think of any more as that page just
reminded me of that one ;)) into GEM so that it would have a slightly
better browser

right....my plans for helping with GEM at the moment, are to get on
with my school-work in the term and then by the time christmas comes
i'll hope i won't have any GCSE coursework (going into year10) to do -
so i'll get our old 8086 out FINALLY - it's too hot some of the time
to be playing around with computers - and plus...in two weeks before i
go back i've gotta do some art coursework - any ideas what food is
easy to draw and can be interesting???

hope this helps,
