[GEM Development] Unhappiness with VTHIEF, and not being able to get screenshots

Owen kindly sent me VTHIEF to capture screenshots of OpenGEM, but sadly
the program crashes every time I try to take a shot.

I really need to get screenshots of OpenGEM, and any advice that you
guys can give me is useful.  I'm running XP, and I need to do the
shooting on this platform.
