Someone posted this auction to the comment section of my DIY blog:

http://www.propertyroom.com/ItemDetails.aspx?l=6625318

It appears to be some kind of partially completed CPT. (Cockpit Procedures
Trainer)

So retract the bid. You never should have bid on it to begin with if you
have no place to put it or to transport it. Jeeze.

Hi Gene
They won't let me retract it. I read everything about it but I missed
something
I thought it was fiberglass. It's sheet metal I have no way to cut that or
even dump it.
The size assuming it was glass I could cut it down under those conditions it
looks great
but I missed the part about it being metal .Anyway maybe he will get another
bid there are
6.5 days to go ? I offered to pay the man right now today for it and let him
keep it if I am the
high bidder so I am waiting for an answer ?

Regards

Bill

You NEVER, EVER, EVER buy a simulator cab with the thought of "Gee, I can
just cut that down and put it back together later." EVER.

NEVER.

EVER.

Bill,

If by some freak of nature you get that for two hundred dollars, I will come
down to LA. We'll tow it to a scrap metal dealer. We will take out the seats
and cut out anything else of value (cockpit panel etc) right in the parking
lot with a reciprocating saw, and sell the rest (including the trailer -
which is probably worth 1000.00) as scrap metal. You might go home with a
few jinglies in your pocket even!

But let's be realistic about this. If you can buy something like that for
200.00, I'm moving to California. I'll hook it up to the ass end of my Jeep
and put a mattress in it. Then I'll wire up some lights on it and register
it as a camper! A little swing out awning in the back. You know ... nice.

ha ha

It has 2 full PFC Hvy yokes +a real live throttle quadrant and maybe some
real gauges could be worth thousands if it was glass I would win it no
matter what or if it was Aluminum I would bid like hell but its sheet metal
man is above my head. It could have real gauges but I don't think it fly's
software. It was a test lab but someone that wants to convert it its a steel
at any price
