For anyone (like me) who is up the creek now that Leo's site seems to have
vanished, take a look at Hagstrom's KEAD6 product.

http://www.hagstromelectronics.com/products/kead6.html

I've got one here - not had time to install/test it yet though.

Roy.

Seems like that's two of these companies going South on us. Both operated by
Leo's incidentally.

I need to do some digging and see if I can find out what the hell is going
on. I really wanted to order a couple of '36s from him. Then again, the
hardware in Mikes book may make it moot. Dunno yet.

Don't be too glad Roy. I see by your horoscope that Sagittarius will be
entering Uranus on the full of the moon.

Quite back on topic...

I just got a pair of Phidget 0/16/16's driving my annunciator panel.

After all these years of dicking about with gadgets'n'widgets I still get
a huge kick out of seeing things light up when they're supposed to !

Aircraft at 30,000 feet.

Set fuel to about 2 gallons per tank...

Sit back hugging large cup of coffee and wait...

Engines splutter... Engines die...

Annunciator panel lights up like it's Xmas :-)

I love my job on days like this !

Oh, just put a 6,300 UKP order in to simkits too.

Guys we have it running no issues but what the issue with Bognars board
in the beginning the upgrade 386 kept dropping its configuration. That
however took
care of itself when we got the Tripleheadtogo to run at full ,max resolution
of
1680x1050 on my 3 24 inch LCD With DVI full connectors no 9 pin stuff.

Now I need some help too .I am trying to run a professional planner and
moving
map from Seattle Avionics. I need a GPS that is software driven to convince
X-plane
that the aircraft is not over my house . I have one on order but Seattle
Avionics claims
it runs on an NMEA 0183 interface anyone heard of a plug-in to adapt to that
interface
in X-plane ?

The company is www.seattleavionics.com their base product makes X-planes
moving
map look like it's from the Neanthrathals !

Does look slick but I'm not paying another penny for anything I can't

I'm tired of these guys coming along, we invest in their stuff then they

This is exactly why I refuse to take the time to build anything proprietary.

Does look slick but I'm not paying another penny for anything I can't
control myself. Be it open source or developed from the ground up.

I'm tired of these guys coming along, we invest in their stuff then they
tell us to eff off for whatever psychotic reason they come up with.

This is exactly why I refuse to take the time to build anything proprietary.
None of my stuff will be useless if I fall off the Earth or get hit by a
bus.

Yea David. Digital is becoming more and more popular. That's why I try to do
everything with my Firewire now. Analogue is on the way out.

Oh Lord.
