Frank -
How are you driving the four channels? By the different resolution on the
forward screen, is it safe to assume you're driving
it as at least two 'logical' displays?
I also notice that you list non-square resolutions on each screen. Are
you using non-square screens, or just a square portion
of the image?
I haven't found a way to get rid of the borders, but if you run in
full-screen mode, they're only one pixel wide, and they're
black on all but the 'active' window. There is a small catch - unless one
of the windows is associated with a 2d cockpit view,
FSX will configure at least one window to full-screen. I usually get
around this by defining a 2d cockpit view with a small
window and small 2d cockpit, located somewhere unobtrusive (if you're only
using the square center portion of each display, the
unused space between windows is perfect for this), set to active. Once
this is done, you need only to set your projector's zoom
to place the borders just outside of the actual screen area, and you'll
never notice them.
Conveniently, the correct zoom for a 90° window is 0.302 - close enough
to the 0.30 minimum that you shouldn't have to worry
about editing the .flt file directly.
Let me know if you have any more questions -
-Wayne
