Looks pretty sweet, although I'm afraid the capabilities are considerably exaggerated by that article. As with conventional motion systems, it's only going to really work with very short-term maneuvers, and of course will excel at quick, abrupt maneuvers. For anything that lasts more than a few seconds, the system will still have to roll out the motion to neutral, which is going to be hard to sneak past the pilot when the motion is so extreme.
There are, of course, a few things this rig will do a LOT better than a conventional system: it looks as though it can act as a sort of centrifuge, spinning the pilot around to give sustained G forces in certain directions.
