....and it is a brilliant piece of software to use! I have done a few curved screen installs using TH2GO, 3 projectors and a nice big curved sceen :-)
My suggestion for achieving a true 180 would be the three video card solution, with SOL7 or something similar to do the edge blending.
I hope to do some testing with Win7 and 3 graphics cards soon....

Sol7 was designed for smooth edge blending with projectors and a TH2G. It
can also warp the output for use on dome & concave screens.

The problem is that all those things can be had piecemeal. I'm scratch
building my own projectors because I can't afford to drop $1k each on
them when I can build them myself for $400.
I guess it just galls me that they charge so much for a one trick pony.
Being the only game in town however, they're charging what the market will
bear.

What do people think "money wise" when you tell them you have a REAL F15.
You should be thankful you get any deals! ! ! ! !

Gene, if my memory serves me correctly, your building projectors from flat
screen kits and OHP's right?
If that is the case - you wont be using shiny digital widescreen monitors,
and will instead be using standard resolution monitors.
In that case do what i did - don't be looking at a new digital TH2G - Get on
e-bay and pick up an analogue one for $200. I got mine for £90 last year and
its brilliant.
If you don't need bells - don't buy them - you taught me that. The only
difference is the offset adjustment and bezel adjustment, which frankly you
can do by hand by physically shifting the viewpiont of the projectors.
Just an idea, i just hate this "ripoff" mentality that a lot of FS hardware
companies like Matrox have.
Jamie.

Well said Gene,
Spreading it out also helps on the wife front as she tends to forget what
I've actually put out over the years! I could be fiddling around with a new
toy and say to her ... "This? Oh, I've had that here for years now. Forgot
all about it actually. Don't you remember that box over there in the corner

This is exactly what i have ended up doing. And i have had exactly the same
conversation with my wife.
I agree Matrox TH2G is an amazing product - but the massive hike in the
price since Microsoft stopped Vista from monitor spanning has annoyed me
immensely - their product prices have risen by 50% but the products
themselves remain the same.
Anyway - ill leave you to it again.
PS Gene - thank you for that link, a very very useful find indeed - i shall
be handing them some money :)

Sorry i wasnt clear. When Vista was introduced in included a new WDDM 1.0
(Windows Display Driver Model), this now prevents users from using the
Horizontal span that allowed us to mimic what TH2G does through multiple
G/cards. Graphic drivers no longer support the feature because it has been
disabled permanently by the new model architecture.
WDDM 1.0 Literally is a new architecture that was built for the WDM built
into Vistas shiny desktop features (which i have mostly turned off) and is a
death knell for wide screen gaming on a budget.

I have a whole room dedicated to stuff like that. Right down to - "before i
throw out that PSU, ill need to take out the Diodes."
The only annoying thing is when your in full swing and you have a sudden
need for the gizmo you bought 2 years ago, and realize that in fact you
should have got 2 of them.
Ladies do it too, but in their case its shoes - "But baby, i might get a red
fake leather dress one day!"

Yep!
What's worse, you buy one or two and then forget you have them and buy
more later. It's a never ending cycle. :)

I just did that recently with a glass cutter. I knew I had a few of them,
but after two hours of searching I said to hell with it and bought a new
one. When I was done, I said, now, I'm going to hang that damned thing right
on a nail over there so I can find it next time. Guess where the other three
I had were? Right on the same nail.

HAR! I'm so glad it's not just me that does that.
I had builders on-site for a couple of months building an extension on the
back of the house. Since they had to gain access via my garage/workshop
any time I can't find something, I (guiltily) assume one of the tradesmen
'swiped' it.
I've bought a few new tools since they were here, only to find the old
ones later.
